Panorama of the Month; Lulworth Cove, Dorest
Lulworth Cove was formed approximately 10,000 years ago by the awesome powers of a river and the sea. It continues to evolve behind a narrow Portland Stone entrance as the softer Purbeck, Wealden, Greensand and Chalk exposures are eroded.

About Me
My name is James Feltham, and I am an amateur photographer. I would like to mention this before anyone good enough to read this thinks that I am a professional photographer, well indeed I am not. But I do aspire to be one, and would like to think that I do have some valuable experience that shows I am capable of delivering photography of a high standard. Also I am young, which also adds to my 'dont judge a book by its cover' theory! But again I hope that my work shows people my potential! I have been interested in photography since I was about thirteen when me and my father used to walk a neighbours dog across the moors. And we used to look at different wildlife, and appreciate the naturalistic aspects of everything we saw. It was then I decided, 'wouldn't it be great to capture these amazing sights that we see when we walk!' So I looked around for a camera. I found a Fujifilm S1500 on the internet and decided to start saving! Although, an electric pole in one of the fields where we walk turned into a target for me and the dogs tennis ball.
Plus the promise from Dad that if the ball met the post from a fair distance. I would get the camera. I hit the post. And from then on
I was taking photographs walk after walk. And that’s why I love it as much is I do to this day.
